Great to meet Lee Pugh (e-Cargo Bike Delivery Service) and Mike Polom (Transport and Sustainability Project Officer at Colchester Borough Council) in beautiful Colchester receiving their brand new Iceni Cycles e-Cargo trike.
Lee will be using the Iceni e-Cargo trike to replenish Colchester’s scooter hire batteries and also to move the odd out-of-service scooter. The trike’s carrying capacity is 250kgs so plenty of scope for luggage!
Lee will also be using the trike to carry packages in and around the city centre – known as ‘Last-Mile’ delivery service. Iceni Cycles e-Cargo trikes are battery-assisted and hold as much as half a small van. They are essentially an e-cargo bicycle and can use bike lanes as well as park on pavements when convenient and safe.
